Apply now for Murrell J. Higgins Duster Scholarship

Applications for the Murrell J. Higgins Duster Scholarship are now being accepted.

This scholarship was established in 2012 to assist students with costs associated with attending Northeastern Illinois University, including tuition, books, or fees. There will be one $600 scholarship awarded to a student taking courses in Summer 1A and four $400 scholarships awarded to students enrolled in the Fall 2015 semester. Application materials can be found here.

The deadline for applications is April 10, 2015.

Criteria:

1. All applicants must be currently enrolled Northeastern Illinois University students.
2. Scholarships are open to both undergraduate and graduate students.
3. Students enrolled in their last semester cannot apply.

Recipients will be selected and notified. The Summer 1A scholarship will be awarded by May 15, 2015. Fall 2015 scholarships will be awarded by August 15, 2015.
