My name is Miguel Marino, and I am a peer coach for
the Trio Student Support Services program at Northeastern Illinois University. I am passionate about developing people and
seeking and sharing knowledge. I also enjoy
people and conversations. Some of my hobbies revolve around cars, martial arts, working out, eating, cooking, learning, and exploring. I hold a bachelor’s degree in communications, and I am currently working on a master’s in higher education leadership. My goal is to become a professor, to influence as many students as I can, and to have an impact on higher education. Lastly, I know what it feels like to not know what to do with life, and I know what it feels like to be passionate and focused, so give me a chance to help you with the wisdom I have acquired with my experiences.
