TRIO Student Support Services at Northeastern Illinois University provides academic support to first-generation and income-qualifying students and to students with disabilities. Services include academic advisement, financial aid and scholarship guidance, tutoring and mentoring, personal and leadership development seminars, study strategies, and other activities aimed at helping students obtain a college degree.

Free summer workshop series
Dear TRIO Achiever:
We hope the spring term ended well for you, and you are
having a wonderful beginning to the summer. During the summer term, TRIO
Student Support Services is planning to offer a free workshop series to help
students prepare to succeed in:
- Math 091 and 092 courses
- English 099 course
- ESL workshops
- Test of Academic Proficiency (TAP) for teacher candidates
These sessions will be interactive,
engaging, and target your learning needs. If you are interested in
participating in this program for a minimum of two hours a week (on the days of
your choosing), please help us plan to accommodate your needs by completing the
application at the link below, even if you do not yet know you will be
available. Complete this by this Friday, May 16:
