Three TRIO scholarships are available

Three TRIO scholarships available

TRIO is offering three Spring Scholarships: Participation, Engagement and Study Abroad. To be eligible, you must complete your Spring 2016 Student Success Plan. The deadline to apply for the scholarships is Jan. 30. 

All TRIO members can now complete SSP online We've made it possible for EVERYONE to complete the Student Success Plan (SSP) online. You must complete your SSP to be eligible for spring TRIO scholarships. Send your questions to triosss@neiu.edu.

Need help with FAFSA? You can get personal assistance completing the 2016-17 Free Application for Federal Student Aid. NEIU will be hosting FAFSA workshops at all of its campuses. The Parent's Guide to Completing the FAFSA will help you get started, whether you're the student, parent, or a guardian. Click here to apply.  TRIO will be conducting numerous FAFSA workshops in LIB 402 beginning the week of Jan. 25. More details to follow.

Apply for College Student Advisory Council Want to take a leadership role in issues facing Chicago youth, such as college and career access? Well, if you're in your 1st or 2nd year of college, you're eligible for the College & Career Student Advisory Council. You must apply by Friday, Jan. 22 since the program begin in Feb. 2016. Good luck!
