Meet The New TRIO Peer Coach-Mentor

My name is Julio DeLeon III. I love meeting all types of students from different backgrounds and hearing the stories that have contributed to where they are. I'm currently a candidate for a Master's in Social Work here at NEIU.

I play drums and aspire to be a professional musician. I welcome any opportunity to talk about art, good food, musical interests and metal.

I understand the ups and downs of the academic journey and I'm excited to help equip students with the tools they need to win. Feel free to ask me about strong self-care tactics to help you get through your rigorous semester.
