Ensemble Espanol's 45th Anniversary Virtual Celebration

 

Dear Ensemble Español Fan, Student, Supporter: Be sure to join us for the Unveiling of the Ensemble Español Spanish Dance Theater's 45th Anniversary Season!       Thursday, October 22 7:00 - 8:30 PM The Ensemble Español will broadcast the virtual celebration live at 7:00 PM CST on Vimeo. When the time comes, click HERE to access the link for our virtual presentation.      This 90 minute, free event will feature performance previews, trailers, highlights of our 45th anniversary season from a variety of Ensemble  programs, including exciting celebrity guests, new partnerships and more.   RSVP → Virtual Celebration   We are certain this celebration will bring the spirit of our communities together while we remain apart at this time.     When should I log on?  The ‘lobby’ will open at 6:45 PM and we suggest logging on at least 10 minutes before the program begins to have time to troubleshoot and get settled. Early Voting In Chicago

 A Loop Super Site opens on Oct. 1. Any Chicago resident can go there to vote early, drop off a vote-by-mail ballot or register to vote.

Starting Oct. 14, all the other early voting sites — one per ward — will open. Not sure which ward you live in? Look it up with your address here.

TRIO SSS Alum Berhane Hailemichael Wins Community Leadership Award

Northeastern Illinois University and the NEIU Alumni Association are pleased to announce the recipients of the 2020 Alumni Awards.

NEIU takes great pride in the success of its alumni. This year, five outstanding alumni will be recognized for excellence and achievement in their careers, leadership and service to their communities and society. 

The awards will be presented at the NEIU Virtual Golden Gala and Alumni Awards Ceremony, taking place at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 17. Registration is complimentary. We hope you will join us to celebrate these outstanding awardees!
