NEIU is gearing up for its first open house in three years, and we are excited for you to join us! Since 2020, several changes have occurred in how we approach education, research, and training. Perhaps your life has also changed and caused you to consider your future. Looking at the world around us, there are many reasons to see why:
- In the year 2010, there were approximately 1 trillion Google searches made. Today, there are more than 99,000 searches made every second.*
- Over the past five years, online purchases have grown by an average of 14% yearly (not including the 31% growth during the pandemic).**
- In 2021 there were approximately 13.8 billion devices connected to the internet. By 2025 the number of connections will be close to 31 billion.
