NEIU Partners With Peace Corps Beginning In Fall 2023

Northeastern Illinois University is pleased to announce a new partnership with the Peace Corps to bring the Peace Corps Prep (PC Prep) program to the University.

Beginning in Fall 2023, all undergraduate students will have the opportunity to earn a certificate from the Peace Corps in one of the Peace Corps’ six sectors: education, health, environment, agriculture, community economic development and youth development.

Don't Miss TRIO DAY On Saturday FEB 25 In Rockford

 Join us for TRIO DAY on Saturday FEB 25! FREE trip & breakfast & lunch to Rockford, IL

NEIU TRIO SSS will be taking a bus of TRIO SSS students to the Rock Valley College Main Campus in Rockford, IL for Illinois TRIO Day on Saturday, February 25, 2023 (this is an event to celebrate national TRIO Day). We will meet bright and early at 6:30 am on the NEIU main campus. The bus will leave campus at 7:00 am. We will be back by 5:00 pm.

Meet students from TRIO SSS programs across Illinois at TRIO DAY and…

  • FREE Breakfast and lunch 

  • See Keynote speaker/panels

  • Participate in Professional development 

  • Join Breakout sessions (social-emotional/physical health & wellness, financial literacy, self-advocacy, LGBQIA+ allyship and safe zone, career preparation, and leadership)
