Active Listening Workshop slated for Oct. 14

On Tuesday, October 14, from 12:30 to 1:20 p.m. outside LIB 412, TRIO will hold a Hot Lunch, Hot Topic Workshop that will teach you ways to become an active listener. The topic is active listening; the lunch is free. See you there.

Hackerspace begins on Friday, Oct. 17 outside LIB 412

Remember that on Friday, October 17, from 2:00 to 3:00 pm, TRIO will launch Hackerspace, a weekly meeting place where students can make friends and share common interests. It's a space for socializing, relaxing and being creative. At the first Hackerspace we will make sugar skulls. Space is limited, so make sure to RSVP. See you there.

TRIO workshops are not just work; they're also fun

TRIO Student Support Services offers a wide variety of workshops each semester outside its main office (LIB 412). All are designed not only to help TRIO participants reach their academic and personal goals and to graduate on time, but also to enjoy a moment of fellowship. TRIO Scholarship Application Workshop was well attended

The TRIO Scholarship Workshop held on Oct. 1 from 9:00 to 9:50 am outside LIB 412 was well attended. Many TRIO students were eager to get their scholarship applications completed correctly and on time. Below TRIO Advisor Richie Heard explains the application process to two TRIO students.
