Get Paid One-Time Annual Student Membership Fee At Black-identified Professional Association

The Black Student Success Committee is extending its deadline to African and African-American identified currently enrolled undergraduate and graduate students who are seeking funding for a one-time annual student membership fee at a Black-identified professional association. The deadline for the Black Professional Membership Fees Initiative is Feb. 1 (or until funds are exhausted).

Below is an example of how it works:

A Black student pursuing a major in Human Resource Development would like to join the National Association of African Americans in Human Resources and the membership fee is $30. This student must schedule a virtual appointment with Tim Mays, Assistant Director for Black Student Success, and Tim will assist with payment.

We ask the campus community to share this opportunity with students and peers!

For questions regarding the initiative, please contact Tim Mays at t-mays2@neiu.edu.
