Want to get from a C to an A? TRIO Tutor Shevy Castle will show you how to take better notes, study for a class, manage your time and prepare for a test. Thursday, Oct. 1, 3:00-4:00 pm in LIB 412. RSVP required by Wed, Sept. 30.
TRIO Poetry Slam a hit; another in works
The first-ever TRIO Slam was a hit. Special thanks to David Montalvo for hosting. Keep churning out those masterpieces; we'll need them for the next Slam!
Ignite Conference Oct. 8-9
Sponsored by the National Society of Hispanic MBA's, this program is for undergrads pursuing degrees in business, finance, science, technology, engineering or math. Ignite promotes career success for Hispanic students by giving them a preview of what grad school is really like. Apply here.
Community Outreach Coordinator Needed
The Greater Auburn Gresham Development Corporation is seeking a coordinator to provide customer service to local residents and to organize volunteers. The coordinator will also serve as a liaison between the corporation and the community. Visit www.gagdc.org for more information.
