- Improve their understating of the graduate school application process at NEIU and other graduate programs.

- Identify sources of funding for graduate study.

- Understand the registration process for the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) and improve their GRE test taking skills.

- Understand the components of an effective personal statement for graduate school.
