Find out about Affordable Care Act health insurance plans and eligibility – you may be eligible for free or low-cost health insurance!
A trained health insurance outreach and enrollment specialist from PCC Community Wellness Center will be on campus on Thursday, October 5 and Thursday, October 19 in Village Square from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. and in the NEIU Student Food Pantry (E-050A) from 1 p.m.-4 p.m.
The NEIU Student Food Pantry and Student Health Services will be co-sponsoring a biweekly outreach table during October about health insurance options. Information and assistance will be provided for students and other members of the university community interested in applying for ACA health insurance plans.
No one plans to get sick or hurt, but health insurance helps pay for the costs if you do. Medicaid (free health insurance) or low-cost health insurance through the Health Insurance Marketplace may be an option for you. The outreach specialist can answer your questions.
