The Northeastern community is invited to attend the 15th Annual Student Center for Science Engagement (SCSE) Student Research Symposium from 8:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Friday, Sept. 29 on the Main Campus in Alumni Hall.
The Symposium will feature 36 presentations of student research, and a keynote address by Cristina Negri, the Director of the Environmental Science Division at Argonne National Laboratory in Lemont, Illinois, and a fellow partner on the Community Research on Climate and Urban Science (CROCUS) Department of Energy (DOE) grant along with Northeastern.
The Symposium showcases the research conducted through the SCSE’s summer internship program, during which Northeastern science students worked with faculty members and outside organizations on a broad array of research projects both on and off campus. The Symposium is co-sponsored by Northeastern’s National Institutes of Health MARC U-STAR (Maximizing Access to Research Careers Undergraduate Student Training in Academic Research) Program.
Please address any questions to the SCSE Director Jorge Cantú at j-cantu@neiu.edu.
