You Can Complete Your 2025-26 FAFSA This November

 

Do you want to be first in line in completing next year’s FAFSA? 2025-2026 FAFSA: Available November This FAFSA determines eligibility for Fall 2025, Spring 2026 and Summer 2026. There are no major changes in store for this application other than NEIU students being able to access FAFSA before it is open to the general population in December.  Of course you want to submit your FAFSA before everyone else, right? Here’s what you need to do: Major changes for the 2024-2025 FAFSA include: Make sure you and your contributor(s) have an FSA ID. If you do not, register using a valid email address.  Complete the Student Interest form by Monday, Oct. 28, 2024. Look for a confirmation response from Federal Student Aid on Nov. 1. Complete and submit your FAFSA beginning Nov. 4 at 2526 EARLY FAFSA. If you need assistance, there will be a FAFSA Completion Workshop at El Centro on Saturday, Nov. 9. RISE Act applicants will not have early access to the Illinois Alternative Application until Dec. 1.
