Gay Pride Parade!
The LGBTQA Resource Center invites students, faculty and staff
to represent Northeastern Illinois University in the 2013 Chicago Gay Pride
Parade. NEIU will partner with B96 radio and have a float in the parade. Each
participant will be given a Northeastern t-shirt to wear for the parade and
walk alongside the float and hand out NEIU promo items, which we will provide.
There will be many street closures due to the parade, so we
strongly encourage participants to get there by public transportation.
Date:
Sunday, June 30, 2013
Meeting
time: 10:30 a.m.
Parade
location: along Broadway and Halsted in Chicago’s
Lakeview
neighborhood.
If you are interested in marching or want more information,
email lgbtqa@neiu.edu by June 21. Meeting
location and additional details will be sent a few days prior to the parade.

families!
