Social Determinants of Health

Student Center East Illinois Room

You are cordially invited to the IALHEA Diversity Dialogue and Research Forum. The Illinois
Committee on Black Concerns in Higher Education (ICBCHE) and the Illinois Latino Committee on
Higher Education (ILACHE) together with campus partners are involved in a collaborative effort to
increase the participation of students-of-color on college and university campuses across the state of
Illinois. The goals are to increase faculty-student research collaborations; facilitate mentor
relationships between faculty, professional staff, and students of color, and increase the persistence
of students-of-color in academia and enhance their research skills. The event will showcase the
scholarly work of underrepresented students from Illinois.
