Sept. 11 Last Day To Add Class!!

Welcome to the start of the Fall semester.  I write regarding important registration and roster verification information.

Registration
Students have been reminded several times that September 11th (NEIU’s census date) is the last day to add a class or to change their registration (with instructor permission).  Registration will be not be permitted after September 11th.  Another reminder will be sent to students in advance of the registration deadline. 

It is critically important that students are registered for all of their classes by September 11th.  Getting students registered by Sept. 11th will ensure that students have access to course content through D2L, appear Starfish (the new early alert system), and are counted in the University’s census numbers.

If a student does not appear on your class roster in NEIUport, the student is not registered.  Your assistance is needed to remind these students to register.  Please send them to the Registration Office in Enrollment Services (D-101) so that we may assist them.


Roster Verification
I also want to inform you that the Roster Verification process will open on September 12th.  Knowing whether students are attending your class(es) remains critically important for the University to meet its federal financial aid requirements.   Please complete the class roster verification process when it opens in approximately two weeks.  A separate email with more details will be sent on September 12th.
