The Chicago Cancer Health Equity Collaborative (CHEC) Research and Education Core invite you to consider students with exceptional academic potential and encourage them to apply for the 2018 cohort of the CHEC Research Fellows Program.
The CHEC Research Fellows Program is a comprehensive summer learning experience for outstanding undergraduate and post-baccalaureate students interested in research programs in behavioral & social science, biomedical, and translational science who are committed to applying to graduate school or medical school.
The mission of this 8-week summer fellowship is to provide training, mentoring, and learning opportunities to recruit and retain underrepresented students in health and cancer research careers to advance cancer health equity.
Letters of recommendation are helpful.
The 2018 application will be live on the website mid-December, and the application deadline is February 28, 2018.
The Chicago Cancer Health Equity Collaborative (ChicagoCHEC) is a National Cancer Institute comprehensive cancer partnership led by the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University, Northeastern Illinois University, and the University of Illinois at Chicago.
