University Advisory Council: Get Involved, Make a Difference!!
Being part of the University Advisory Council (UAC) is a way to get your voice and your fellow students' voices heard!! As a UAC member you'll interact closely with NEIU faculty and staff and gain an indepth understanding of an array of issues that impact the University.
This is a top-tier leadership development opportunity, not to mention the prestige and resume-building value becoming a UAC member brings.
The nomination process for the 2016-2017 for the UAC is now open. The UAC includes representatives from faculty, staff, and students, and its purpose is to advise the President and administration on issues that impact the University as a whole.
Per UAC Bylaws, the student seats (two undergraduate students, one graduate student, and three alternates) are filled each year through an election managed by the Student Government Association.
Interested students should contact the Student Government Association with questions.
The deadline for nominations to councils and assemblies is Thursday, March 31 at 5:00 p.m.
