The "Bring Education and Success Together" (BEST) scholarship fund is a program available to all TRIO students and staff. Awards are based on academic achievement, leadership, contributions to school and community, character, and financial need.
The fund can also be used in case of emergency by TRIO students in need of financial relief due to an illness or major unplanned expense.
Eligibility
1. Applicants must be participating in a TRIO program.
2. Applicants must be US citizens.
BEST Scholarships are awarded without regard to race, sex, religion, age, national origin or sexual orientation. The program awards $500.00 in fund money for up to ten applicants each year. Awards are for one year only, but recipients can reapply for a second year. All scholarship awards will be paid directly to the recipients.
Applications may be submitted via email or fax. The application deadline is October 31 each year. Winners will be notified via email in November and the awards will be disbursed by the end of December.
