Student Research and Creative Activities Symposium 4/20/18

I am pleased to inform you that the NEIU 26th Annual Student Research and Creative Activities Symposium will be held on Friday, April 20, 2018.

Prospective authors may submit their abstracts through the online registration form. The deadline for the submission of abstracts is Wednesday, March 9, 2018. Students will need to select a faculty sponsor who will work with them on the abstract and on the preparation of the project.

I would also like to announce two award opportunities related to the Student Symposium. The Bernard Brommel 3rd Annual Awards will recognize the strongest oral and poster presentations in several categories. In addition, the NEIU Library will present the NEIU Library 5th Annual Awards for Excellence in Research, recognizing outstanding student efforts in the area of library-based research.

For further information about the information about the Symposium and the Brommel and Library awards, please visit http://libguides.neiu.edu/studentsymposium.

In the last twenty-five years, we have enjoyed excellent participation and attendance for this event. We hope to make the 26th Annual Symposium even more successful. This can be achieved only with your participation.
