Gilman Spring 2017 Awards Offered!
The U.S. Department of State's Gilman International Scholarship Program is pleased to announce the awards offered to U.S. undergraduates who applied for Spring 2017. Notifications have been sent via email to all applicants. The Gilman Scholarship Program reviewed over 2,700 applications for spring programs, and just over 850 outstanding students were offered awards to participate in credit-bearing study abroad programs and career-oriented internships in countries all around the world. We would like to send a special thank you to the selection panelists who traveled to the Institute of International Education's (IIE) Houston, San Francisco, and Washington D.C. offices, to review the applications, and to all the educators who continue to promote the Gilman Scholarship and support their students in education abroad and international exchange experiences.
