This winter is predicted to be a long, cold and snowy one. If a decision is made to close any of our University locations due to heavy snow or extreme weather conditions, you will want to know before you make that trek out to Northeastern.
The best way to stay informed about University closings and emergencies is through N-Safe, NEIU's new emergency notification system. All students, staff and faculty are highly encouraged to sign up by going to www.neiu.edu/n-safe. You can select how to receive these messages -- via email and/or text -- and can opt out or update your contact information at any time.
So, if you haven't already done so, sign up today to make sure you avoid an unnecessary commute in the event of inclement weather.
