Gospel Concert Feb. 15 in Auditorium

The Black Heritage Committee invites the University community to "A Breakthrough Encounter" Gospel Concert featuring special guest and Grammy award-winning Gospel artist Smokie Norful on Friday, Feb. 15, from 5-8 p.m. in the Auditorium.

Setting the tone and atmosphere for this powerful worship experience will be various ministers of the arts (through song, dance, sign language and gospel mime). We will have performers who are NEIU students, as well as local guests, then we will receive our special guest.

Tickets are free, but donations will be accepted at the door and put towards the Black History Month Scholarship Fund. For questions, email Ashlei Ross at aross8@neiu.edu.

Posted on behalf of the Black Student Success Committee; the Division of Student Affairs; and the African/African American Studies program, by Mike Hines, Director of Strategic Communications.
