The
MARC program supports and prepares juniors and seniors interested in pursuing
Ph.D. programs in the biomedical and behavioral sciences upon graduation from
Northeastern. This program is not intended to fund students interested in
obtaining just a medical degree.
Benefits:
· High-quality preparation for fully funded
Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. programs
· A $13,000 annual stipend for two years
· Up to 100 percent tuition/fees waiver at Northeastern
Eligibility:
· Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent
residents.
· Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA.
· Applicants are required to complete a
Mathematical and Statistical Modeling minor as part of their training.

There is an opportunity
for NEIU students to attend and participate in the Future Finance Leaders
Program at Oracle’s Modern Business Experience in March at McCormick Place.
Participating students
will attend a dedicated session on Monday afternoon to orient them to the
conference and introduce them to executive Oracle employees in their relative
field of study. This session will be an excellent networking opportunity with
our senior-level leadership teams.

The Circle of
Service Foundation is a
nonprofit organization that provides monetary grants to organizations in the
areas of community services, Jewish community, education and medical research.
It was founded in 1997 and has since worked to support great organizations
to enhance community, opportunity and well-being. Foundation staff are
primarily tasked with implementing grantmaking strategies outlined by
the Foundation’s board. This includes understanding the need in the
community, identifying opportunities for investment, conducting due
diligence on an organization’s outcomes and overall sustainability and bringing
recommendations to the board for their review.
The summer intern position
will assist staff with the development of grant programs.

Government/Politics:
Career Development is hosting a Government Internship Panel on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at 3:00pm -
4:00pm in SU 214. We invite students, faculty, and staff to learn about internship opportunities available at the federal, state, and
local levels of government through a discussion panel and Q&A session.
Confirmed panelists as of now include representatives from the offices of
Senator Tammy Duckworth, Congressman Mike Quigley, and Illinois Senator Ram
Villivalam. We anticipate that representatives from local government and
neighborhood agencies will also be involved.

The Lime Connect Fellowship
Program For Students with Disabilities is our flagship program in the
U.S. designed for highly accomplished rising university juniors.
This prestigious program kicks off with a trip to our Leadership &
Development Symposium in New York City this summer for professional
development training, access to our U.S. corporate partners and potential
Summer 2021 internships. Upon completion of the program, Fellows will
join the lifelong experience of the Lime Connect Fellows community, where
they will receive ongoing support and mentoring, continued
professional development, community, and networking opportunities
throughout their careers.

· A current sophomore at a four-year university in the
United States
· Continuing studies as a full-time student for the
2020 - 2021 academic year
